Show allAllSkin overview
The Dune Asp covers the MP9 in sandy tones with pale, flowing strokes that form a snake across the body. At Minimal Wear the artwork is intact, and any marks are small enough to stay hidden in the light tan palette. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade with a little less concern over perfection.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The whole MP9 is painted in a tan base with white, brush-like strokes and thinner brown lines that wind across the receiver and form the body of a snake. The pattern continues over the vertical foregrip, the pistol grip and the long magazine, where the strokes run in looser curved bands.
Small scuffs may appear on the muzzle edge and the corners of the ribbed foregrip. The light palette hides most of them, so they are hard to spot outside of close inspection. At normal distance in game it looks the same as Factory New. The receiver, magazine and stock still show the full pattern.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Dune Asp ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in sand, brown, cream or muted gold tones blend with the desert palette, while a single black or dark brown sticker echoes the rail and muzzle. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver behind the snake's strokes keeps the main artwork readable.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps more of the white strokes on the grips and magazine.
- Look at the bottom of the magazine and the ribbed grips first, as these lose paint before the receiver does.
- See how much of the snake is visible on the receiver side in the inspect view, because pattern placement shifts the strokes across the body.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the sand palette reads.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Owners who rarely inspect up close, where the small edge scuffs would show.
- A sensible pick that looks almost identical to Factory New in game.
