Souvenir MP9 | Goo (Factory New)

Skin overview

MP9 | Goo is a Restricted SMG skin for the counter-terrorist side, painted to look like dark tar-like goo spreading over a pale grey base. The light base shows through as rounded, cell-like openings across the receiver and stock arm. In Factory New the edges of each opening stay crisp, and the contrast between the near-black goo and the cool pale grey is at its sharpest.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and top rail are covered in dark grey to near-black goo, with irregular rounded openings revealing a pale bluish-grey base underneath. The same pattern continues along the folding stock arm, while the buttpad stays plain dark grey.

The finish is clean across the whole gun. The pale openings are bright and evenly coloured, and the outlines of the goo stay sharp. In game the pattern reads with full contrast even at normal distance. Muzzle, rail and receiver edges show no marks.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white, silver and pale blue stickers blend well with the goo and the bluish-grey base. Holo or foil stickers in cool tones add accent without fighting the pattern, while a single bright colour such as teal can work as a deliberate contrast on the receiver.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since the pale base areas show dirt early and a lower float keeps them noticeably brighter.
• Look at the muzzle, the top rail and the receiver edges in the inspect view, as these parts wear first.
• Compare how the pale openings fall on the receiver, because a cleaner, more balanced spread reads better in game.
• See whether stickers or a name tag are applied and whether they suit the dark and pale grey scheme.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the goo pattern with full contrast and sharp outlines.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean pale base for cool-toned stickers.
• The best choice if the bright pale openings matter most to you.
