Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way to get the Mount Fuji painting on an MP9. The float range of this skin ends before the heaviest damage levels, so even the most worn copies keep the pink and blue palette and the outline of the mountain. Expect visible scratches on edges and grips, but not a ruined image.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is painted in pale pink and teal, with Mount Fuji drawn in fine lines and a large red sun on its side, near the rear of the body. Thin horizontal strokes and small cloud and wave motifs run across the upper part of the weapon, giving it a printed, illustrated feel.

The top rail, receiver edges and grips show the heaviest scratching, with the painting broken up in many places. Thin line work on the receiver is largely lost near the edges. Since the range stops short of the most extreme wear, the pink and blue palette and the outline of the scene still hold in game. The red sun stays the most visible element of the artwork.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.55

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Mount Fuji ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.55 — 18% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MP9 | Mount Fuji belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Operation Riptide Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Pastel pink, teal and red stickers match the palette, and Japanese-themed or minimal designs fit the painting best. Placing stickers away from the red sun keeps the main motif visible, while the darker area toward the stock tolerates bolder colours.

What to look at before you buy

  • Inspect the pattern, since the placement of the red sun and the mountain differs between copies.
  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, as a low float in a grade keeps the edges and grips noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the top rail and the front of the grips, because these parts lose paint first.
  • Check applied stickers and name tags, since they change how the receiver painting reads.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for players who want the Mount Fuji painting on their MP9.
  • Those who know the limited wear range keeps the colours readable even here.
  • The most affordable way to own the skin.
