Souvenir MP9 | Rose Iron (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Rose Iron turns the MP9 into a dark frame wrapped in gold vines, with a red rose and scattered red dots on the receiver. The float range of this skin ends early, so Field-Tested copies sit only at the lightest end of that grade. Wear shows as scuffs along edges and the top of the gun, while the rose and vines remain clear.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and barrel shroud are finished in a dark gunmetal tone with ribbed texture, covered by looping gold thorny vines and small red dots. A large red rose with gold outlines is painted on the rear of the receiver, near the charging area.

Field-Tested copies show more visible scuffs along the top rail, muzzle and receiver edges, with light marks on the grip ribs. Because the range stops early, wear stays moderate and never reaches heavy damage. The rose remains readable and the gold vines keep most of their shine. In game the worn spots appear as small lighter patches near the top of the gun.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.3

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Rose Iron is 0–0.3; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.3 segment (50% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Winter Offensive Collection with 13 skins in total.

The source is Winter Offensive Weapon Case (on sale since Dec 18, 2013).

What it costs in each quality

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, red and black stickers match the rose and thorn palette. Placements on the front of the receiver keep the rose at the rear visible.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position, since Field-Tested copies of this skin only cover the cleanest part of that grade.
• Look at the top rail and muzzle end, which are the first parts to lose paint.
• Make sure the rose on the receiver is not covered by stickers if the artwork matters to you.
• Note any name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether you want them on your copy.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Budget buyers who want the rose design for everyday play.
• Players who do not mind light scuffs on the top of the gun.
• The entry point to this skin, with wear that stays moderate.
