Souvenir MP9 | Rose Iron (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This MP9 carries a gold thorn pattern and a single red rose, painted in metallic tones on a near-black frame. Minimal Wear keeps the motif fully readable, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It gives the same look as the cleanest grade with a small allowance for wear.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and barrel shroud are finished in a dark gunmetal tone with ribbed texture, covered by looping gold thorny vines and small red dots. A large red rose with gold outlines is painted on the rear of the receiver, near the charging area.

Minimal Wear may add tiny light scuffs on the muzzle end and the top rail. The rose and the vines on the receiver stay complete. At normal viewing distance in game the skin is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The grips and magazine look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Rose Iron is 0–0.3; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (27% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Winter Offensive Collection with 13 skins in total.

It drops from Winter Offensive Weapon Case (on sale since Dec 18, 2013).

What it costs in each quality

Taking Minimal Wear as the baseline:

• Factory New — 2% dearer
• Field-Tested — about the same

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 5 skins of the MP9 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, red and black stickers match the rose and thorn palette. Placements on the front of the receiver keep the rose at the rear visible.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position, since Field-Tested copies of this skin only cover the cleanest part of that grade.
• Look at the top rail and muzzle end, which are the first parts to lose paint.
• Make sure the rose on the receiver is not covered by stickers if the artwork matters to you.
• Note any name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether you want them on your copy.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a near-new look and accept faint edge marks.
• Buyers who save a little compared to Factory New with almost no visual cost.
• A sensible balance between condition and spending.
