Souvenir MP9 | Sand Dashed (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

MP9 | Sand Dashed in Battle-Scarred keeps the tan and olive palette but loses much of the paint to wear, leaving large dark patches on the grips, magazine and receiver. The stencilled dashes survive mainly on the protected flat areas. It is the most weathered take on this simple sand camouflage.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole weapon is sprayed in a light sandy tan, from the ribbed receiver and top rail to the foregrip, pistol grip and long magazine. Over the base sit short, angled dashes in olive and brown, applied through pieces of tape, so each mark has straight cut edges and a slightly soft spray halo.

Paint is heavily lost on the grips, magazine, rail and front of the receiver, leaving wide dark patches. The dashed pattern holds on mostly in recessed and flat areas such as the receiver sides and the stock. In game the MP9 reads as a worn, mostly dark weapon with traces of tan. The skin's range does not reach the very end of the scale, so even the worst copies keep some paint.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Sand Dashed ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in earthy tones, olive, brown, black or matte gold blend with the sand camouflage and keep the military look. A single darker sticker on the side of the receiver stands out well against the light tan base.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, because low-float Field-Tested and Well-Worn copies look clearly cleaner than high-float ones.
• Look at the grips and the magazine first, as these are where the paint wears through earliest.
• The pattern placement changes little in appearance, so condition matters more than the pattern seed.
• Souvenir versions exist, so check which stickers are already applied and whether they suit you.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

• Players who enjoy heavily worn weapons with a lot of character.
• The cheapest entry point to this finish.
• Collectors who want the full range of wears for this skin.
• In short: the most weathered version, chosen for its rough look.
