Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of MP9 | Shredded, where the light camo has lost much of its paint on edges and raised areas. The dark blotches and orange slashes remain recognisable on the sides, but the gun now reads as patchy and grey in many places. It is the most affordable way to own this finish.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and upper body are covered in a pale cream base broken by large ragged dark brown blotches and narrow orange-red streaks, forming a torn tiger camo. The vertical foregrip, pistol grip and long magazine carry the same pattern, with dense dark spots near their lower ends.
Large grey areas cover the edges and raised parts, and wear reaches well into the receiver sides, grips and magazine. The light base loses much of its brightness, so the dark blotches and grey material dominate. In game the gun looks heavily used and patchy. Only the more sheltered flat areas keep a readable piece of the tiger pattern.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Shredded is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MP9 | Shredded belongs to The Radiant Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 6 skins of the MP9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in orange, red, brown or gold tones blend well with the camo, while black or dark brown designs echo the torn blotches. Placements on the receiver side above the grip are the most visible against the light base.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn keeps noticeably more cream paint on the edges.
- Look at the front of the receiver, the grip ridges and the magazine base, because these are the first places where the camo wears off.
- Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the copy carries souvenir stickers and whether they suit you.
- If a name tag or applied stickers are listed, make sure they match the cream, brown and orange palette.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for anyone who simply wants this finish in their inventory.
- Players who enjoy heavily weathered, patchy skins.
- The cheapest way into MP9 | Shredded, with clear visual compromises.
