Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred this MP9 becomes mostly dark polymer with patches of pale satin left on the flatter areas. The technical lines survive only in fragments, while edges, grips and the magazine are worn down to the base. It suits players who like a beaten-up gun and want the skin's shape and colours in the most affordable grade.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and side panels are painted in a pale blue-grey satin with thin darker blue lines, small markings and a tiny red detail near the ejection area, giving a schematic look. The ribbed handguard, barrel shroud, muzzle and pistol grip stay in dark grey polymer, framing the light panels.
Most of the pale paint is gone from edges, the magazine and the stock plate, and the receiver panels keep only scattered patches. The technical lines survive in fragments. In game the gun reads as mostly dark with light spots. The dark polymer parts look much the same as in cleaner grades.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Spy Prototype ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Blue, white, silver and black stickers match the schematic palette, and holo or foil in cool tones fits the technical look. A single red accent can echo the small red detail on the receiver. The pale side panels are the best spot for placement, where stickers stand out against the satin.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear, since the pale panels show scratches clearly and a low float in a grade looks noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the magazine base, the top rail and the stock plate, as these lose paint first.
- Look at whether the thin lines and small markings on the receiver are still readable.
- On souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how worn they are.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for anyone who wants this MP9 in the inventory.
- Players who prefer a dark, heavily worn gun.
- The cheapest way to own the skin.
