Show allAllSkin overview
Urban Sovereign in Battle-Scarred is the most raw version of the skin: the white tags are broken into fragments, the gold and teal are patchy, and bare metal takes over the edges and the top of the weapon. The colour scheme remains readable, so the skin still looks like graffiti rather than a plain gun. It is the cheapest way to get the design in hand.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is painted dark charcoal and covered in loose white graffiti tags, with gold and bronze spray strokes radiating in star-like shapes around the side and the ejection area. The top rail and the area near the muzzle carry teal and mint panels, while the muzzle ring, the trigger guard and the stock end plate add bright orange accents, together with small red-orange square marks on the body.
Wear covers most of the upper surfaces, the muzzle, the magazine and the grip edges, with bare metal dominating these areas. The white tags survive only as fragments, and the gold, teal and orange accents are patchy and faded. In game the weapon looks rough and scraped, but the dark-and-white colour scheme still hints at the graffiti theme. Only the most protected spots on the receiver side keep any sharp detail.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Urban Sovereign is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Dead Hand Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, white or holo-gold stickers echo the gold spray strokes and white tags, while teal or orange designs pick up the accents on the rail, muzzle and stock. Graffiti-style or hand-drawn stickers along the receiver side blend naturally into the street-art theme; heavily coloured stickers can get lost in the busy pattern.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more of the white tags and gold strokes.
- Look closely at the top of the receiver, the rail and the muzzle edge, as these are the first areas to lose paint.
- Inspect the magazine base and grip edges on worn copies to see how much of the dotted grid and graffiti remains.
- Review any applied stickers or name tag in the inspect view, especially on Souvenir copies, to make sure they fit the busy artwork.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry into the Urban Sovereign design.
- Fans of heavily scraped, gritty skins that look battle-used.
- In short: a raw budget option that still carries the graffiti colours.
