Skin overview

Urban Sovereign is recognisable at a glance by its dense black-and-white tags crossed with gold spray marks and bright orange points at the muzzle and stock. In Field-Tested the finish starts to look genuinely street-worn: scuffs on the top of the receiver and the magazine blend into the graffiti rather than fight it. For many players this is the grade where the theme feels most natural.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver is painted dark charcoal and covered in loose white graffiti tags, with gold and bronze spray strokes radiating in star-like shapes around the side and the ejection area. The top rail and the area near the muzzle carry teal and mint panels, while the muzzle ring, the trigger guard and the stock end plate add bright orange accents, together with small red-orange square marks on the body.

Scratches spread along the top of the receiver, the rail and the muzzle, and the base of the magazine shows worn spots. The thin white lines lose some crispness where they cross scuffed areas, and the teal panels start to dull at the edges. In game the scuffs mostly blend into the busy graffiti and the overall look holds up well. The side of the receiver and the middle of the magazine still carry most of the design.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Urban Sovereign ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The source is Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.

Price by quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 6 skins of the MP9 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, white or holo-gold stickers echo the gold spray strokes and white tags, while teal or orange designs pick up the accents on the rail, muzzle and stock. Graffiti-style or hand-drawn stickers along the receiver side blend naturally into the street-art theme; heavily coloured stickers can get lost in the busy pattern.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more of the white tags and gold strokes.
  • Look closely at the top of the receiver, the rail and the muzzle edge, as these are the first areas to lose paint.
  • Inspect the magazine base and grip edges on worn copies to see how much of the dotted grid and graffiti remains.
  • Review any applied stickers or name tag in the inspect view, especially on Souvenir copies, to make sure they fit the busy artwork.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who use the MP9 on the CT side and want a recognisable skin for everyday matches.
  • Fans of the street-art theme who like a bit of real wear on a graffiti design.
  • In short: a practical middle option where the scuffs suit the motif.
