Negev | Boroque Sand in Battle-Scarred is the most weathered take on the sand, teal and olive ornament. Large areas of the print are rubbed away on raised parts and edges, and the scrollwork survives mostly on recessed panels. It gives the machine gun a rough field look at the lowest entry point.
Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, feed cover and handguard are covered in a dense ornamental print of pale sand yellow, teal and dark olive scrollwork. The long barrel and muzzle are finished in a plain sand-khaki tone that matches the base colour of the ornament.
Large areas of the print are gone from the barrel, edges, magazine and stock, exposing the base underneath. The ornament survives mainly in recessed areas of the receiver and the middle of the magazine. In game the Negev looks heavily used, with only a hint of the sand and teal scheme.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir Negev | Boroque Sand ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Negev | Boroque Sand belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Compared with the Battle-Scarred quality, the others go like this: Factory New — 2.4× dearer. The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, sand and teal stickers blend with the ornament and keep the craft calm. Dark or matte stickers placed on the receiver side or the plain barrel area stand out better against the busy pattern than bright multicolour ones.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the muzzle and magazine corners show the difference first.
- Look at the box magazine and stock edges in the inspect view to see how much of the ornament is left.
- A Souvenir version exists, so confirm whether the copy is Souvenir and which stickers it carries.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the busy pattern reads.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for anyone who wants the skin in the inventory.
- Fans of a rough, heavily used look.
- The cheapest way to own this finish.
