Skin overview

Negev | Man-o'-war pairs metallic blue with gold swirls and accents on a light grey-olive machine gun. The colour sits on the barrel, the sights and the top of the receiver, while the rest of the body stays muted. Minimal Wear is the cleanest grade this skin comes in, so the gold linework on the top cover stays sharp and the blue keeps its even shine.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The barrel and the muzzle area carry the deep metallic blue, and the front and rear sights are finished in the same colour. The top cover and rail of the receiver hold the most detailed part of the artwork: blue panels with fine gold swirls and accents.

Wear is limited to small specks on the muzzle and the tips of the sights. The gold swirls on the top cover keep their thin lines, and the blue panels look uniform. At normal distance in game the weapon reads as practically clean. The magazine and stock show almost no marks.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.1–0.15

The float of Souvenir Negev | Man-o'-war ranges from 0.1 to 0.2; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.1–0.15 — 50% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.

The source is Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo-gold and deep blue stickers continue the colour scheme of the top cover. Placements on the light receiver body read best when the stickers stay in blue, gold or neutral tones rather than bright warm colours.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare the float position within the range, since the lower end of Field-Tested looks close to Minimal Wear.
  • Inspect the muzzle and the sight tips, which lose the blue coating first.
  • Look at the corners of the top cover, where the gold swirls are thinnest.
  • Check stickers and name tag, as they change the look of the light receiver body.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the cleanest available version of the blue and gold artwork.
  • Collectors building a Negev set who prefer crisp gold linework.
  • Sticker crafters who need an even base for gold and blue placements.
  • The grade for those who value a clean look over saving money.
