Skin overview

This is the grey Negev with white and red prototype markings, taken to its roughest state. In Battle-Scarred the white panels are heavily broken, much of the lettering and stripe pattern is gone, and the gun reads mostly as worn grey metal with traces of colour. It is the most affordable way to run the skin and keeps its industrial look.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, top cover, barrel, foregrip and box magazine are finished in a uniform dark grey with a matte metal feel. Along the rear of the receiver runs a white panel with red-and-white diagonal hazard stripes and small black technical lettering, and a narrow white band sits higher on the top cover.

Most of the white panels are worn away, leaving only traces of the stripes and lettering. Bare metal shows across the raised parts of the receiver and the top cover. In game the gun reads almost entirely as worn grey metal. The magazine and stock show heavy scuffing on their edges.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.7

The whole float range of Souvenir Negev | Prototype is 0–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Prisma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, white and black stickers echo the hazard stripes and keep the technical feel. Industrial or warning-style designs placed on the grey receiver or the magazine fit the prototype theme without covering the markings.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the white panels on the receiver, since they show wear first and define the look.
  • Check whether the hazard stripes and lettering are still readable at the float you choose.
  • A float near the clean end of its range gives noticeably sharper markings in the middle grades.
  • Make sure stickers and any name tag fit the grey and white-red scheme.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
  • Those who prefer a mostly grey, rugged machine gun.
  • Conclusion: a budget pick that keeps the industrial mood.
