Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of Baroque Orange, yet the skin's float range ends early, so it never reaches the heaviest damage some finishes show. Expect a scratched barrel and faded edges, while the stock and receiver keep a recognisable orange pattern. It is the most affordable way to carry this ornate look.
Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is covered in a rusty orange base with gold baroque scrollwork, and the same ornament continues across the stock, where it is framed by lighter metallic borders. The barrel carries a mottled grey, white and black pattern that contrasts with the warm body.
Wear is only slightly heavier than Well-Worn, because the skin's float range stops early. The barrel and muzzle are the most scratched, and the edges of the receiver and stock show the most bare metal. The orange pattern is still clearly present on the receiver and stock. In game the skin remains easy to recognise.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Baroque Orange is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Nova | Baroque Orange belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brown and warm orange stickers blend well with the baroque scrollwork on the receiver. Dark or black stickers on the barrel keep the contrast with the grey pattern, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the antique look.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the barrel and muzzle show the difference first.
- Look at the receiver edges and raised parts of the stock for bare metal on worn copies.
- Souvenir versions come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the orange and gold artwork.
- Check for a name tag and any stickers on regular copies before buying.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Entry-level buyers looking for the cheapest copy of this finish.
- Players who know the limited float range keeps the pattern recognisable.
- The budget entry that still looks the part in game.
