Show allAllSkin overview
This wear keeps the baroque look of the Nova almost intact: the rich orange body and gold scrolls remain the first thing you notice. Any marks are small and sit on edges you rarely look at in a match. It is a sensible way to get the clean appearance of this finish without aiming for the top grade.
Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver is covered in a rusty orange base with gold baroque scrollwork, and the same ornament continues across the stock, where it is framed by lighter metallic borders. The barrel carries a mottled grey, white and black pattern that contrasts with the warm body.
Small specks can appear near the muzzle and along the top edge of the barrel. The receiver and stock keep their colour and ornament nearly untouched. At normal viewing distance the gun is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Only a close inspection reveals the minor marks.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Baroque Orange is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Nova | Baroque Orange belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brown and warm orange stickers blend well with the baroque scrollwork on the receiver. Dark or black stickers on the barrel keep the contrast with the grey pattern, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the antique look.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the barrel and muzzle show the difference first.
- Look at the receiver edges and raised parts of the stock for bare metal on worn copies.
- Souvenir versions come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the orange and gold artwork.
- Check for a name tag and any stickers on regular copies before buying.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters who accept minor marks away from the sticker area.
- A balanced pick between appearance and cost.
