Show allAllSkin overview
Blaze Orange in Battle-Scarred is the most rugged version of the hunting camo Nova. Large patches of the orange are worn through, the camo shapes lose their edges and bare metal shows on the barrel, receiver and stock. The range stops short of the maximum, so even the worst copies keep a recognisable amount of orange.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and stock are painted in bright blaze orange with irregular black and dark brown blotches that resemble leaves and branches from a photographic hunting camo. The long barrel and magazine tube carry a darker version of the print, with tan and black patches over a dark base, while the magazine cap at the front is orange again.
Large areas of the barrel and magazine tube are worn down to metal, and the receiver and stock have wide scratched patches with blurred camo shapes. The orange looks faded and broken up. In game the shotgun clearly reads as heavily used. Since the range does not reach the maximum, the middle of the stock and receiver keep a recognisable orange base.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Blaze Orange is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Nova | Blaze Orange belongs to The Militia Collection, which holds 11 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Black, dark brown and orange stickers blend with the hunting camo, while white or cream accents stand out cleanly on the orange receiver. Placements on the receiver side work better than on the dark barrel, where stickers tend to get lost.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the grade, especially in Factory New, where this skin only covers a narrow upper slice.
- Look at the muzzle, the magazine cap and the stock edges, since these lose paint first.
- Souvenir copies exist, so decide whether you want their preset stickers or a regular copy.
- Check applied stickers and name tags, as they change how the orange areas look.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry into this skin.
- Those who like a heavily weathered hunting shotgun look.
- Conclusion: a budget pick that still keeps recognisable orange.
