Souvenir Nova | Blaze Orange (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Blaze Orange reads as a hunting shotgun first: blaze orange paint broken up by dark natural camo shapes. In Field-Tested the colours remain bright, but scuffs start to appear on the barrel tip, receiver edges and the lower line of the stock. The slightly used finish suits the hunting theme and still looks tidy at normal viewing distance.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and stock are painted in bright blaze orange with irregular black and dark brown blotches that resemble leaves and branches from a photographic hunting camo. The long barrel and magazine tube carry a darker version of the print, with tan and black patches over a dark base, while the magazine cap at the front is orange again.

Scuffs become visible on the muzzle, the magazine cap, the receiver edges and the lower edge of the stock, with light wear starting along the barrel. The orange is still bright and the camo pattern is fully readable. At normal distance the gun looks lightly used rather than damaged. The flat sides of the stock and receiver mostly stay clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Blaze Orange is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Nova | Blaze Orange belongs to The Militia Collection, which holds 11 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 5 skins of the Nova in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, dark brown and orange stickers blend with the hunting camo, while white or cream accents stand out cleanly on the orange receiver. Placements on the receiver side work better than on the dark barrel, where stickers tend to get lost.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the grade, especially in Factory New, where this skin only covers a narrow upper slice.
• Look at the muzzle, the magazine cap and the stock edges, since these lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies exist, so decide whether you want their preset stickers or a regular copy.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, as they change how the orange areas look.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the hunting look with bright colours at a lower cost.
• Those who like a lightly used finish that fits the camo theme.
• Conclusion: a practical everyday copy.
