Skin overview

Nova | Dark Sigil is the cheapest way to get the engraved Norse look on this shotgun. The dark stock, copper details and ribbed pump define the silhouette even when the fine lines fade. In Battle-Scarred the finish looks rough and aged, which many players find fitting for a design about longships and dragons.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The barrel is a dark gunmetal tube with a lighter muzzle ring and a black front sight. The pump forend is a warm brown with deep horizontal ribs, finished at the front by a copper cap on the magazine tube.

The pump, copper cap and receiver edges show the heaviest wear, with large areas of exposed metal. Much of the fine engraving on the receiver and stock is faded or broken. The skin's float range stops short of the most extreme damage, so the dark stock and the overall colour layout remain visible. At play distance it looks rough and aged rather than ruined.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.699

The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Dark Sigil is 0–0.699; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.699 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Kilowatt Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Kilowatt Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in black, grey, bronze or gold tones match the engraved metal and copper accents. Placements on the receiver work well because they sit next to the etched ornament without covering the dragon on the stock. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the copper cap and the pump ribs first, since they show wear before any other part.
  • Check the float position within the wear range, as a low float in Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
  • Inspect the dragon engraving on the stock to see how much of the fine line work survives.
  • Note any stickers or name tag and whether they suit the dark, engraved style.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry into this skin.
  • Fans of a rough, battle-worn look that fits the longships and dragons theme.
  • The budget pick for those who care about the silhouette more than fine detail.
