Skin overview

Nova | Koi is a Restricted shotgun finish with a custom paint job inspired by variegated koi scales. The receiver and stock carry cream, red and black patches over a scale pattern, while the barrel and pump stay dark. In Factory New the red reads saturated and the thin scale outlines on the stock stay crisp and even.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The barrel, magazine tube and ribbed pump are finished in dark grey and black with a faint mottled texture. The receiver switches to a cream base broken by red and black blotches, resembling the markings of a koi fish.

The finish is clean across the whole weapon, with no scratches on the receiver or stock. The red stays deep and the cream scale outlines have sharp edges. At normal distance the koi colouring stands out clearly against the dark front end. Nothing on the paint draws attention away from the pattern.

The float of Souvenir Nova | Koi ranges from 0 to 0.3; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and cream stickers match the koi colouring and blend into the receiver. Gold or white stickers work well on the dark barrel area, where they contrast without clashing with the pattern.
