Skin overview

Nova | Koi is recognisable by its red and cream scale-patterned stock and the koi-style spots on the receiver behind a dark barrel. The float range of this skin ends early, so Field-Tested copies sit only at the low end of what that grade usually means. Expect visible scuffs on edges and the cream areas, while the overall koi colouring still reads clearly in game.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel, magazine tube and ribbed pump are finished in dark grey and black with a faint mottled texture. The receiver switches to a cream base broken by red and black blotches, resembling the markings of a koi fish.

Scratches become visible on the receiver edges, the front of the grip and the underside of the stock, where the cream paint shows the most. Some scale outlines near these areas look slightly broken. Since this skin's range stops early, the wear stays moderate and the red coloring is still bright. In game the koi look reads clearly, with the damage noticeable mainly on close inspection.

The float of Souvenir Nova | Koi ranges from 0 to 0.3; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.3 — 50% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and cream stickers match the koi colouring and blend into the receiver. Gold or white stickers work well on the dark barrel area, where they contrast without clashing with the pattern.
