Skin overview

The skin is easy to spot by its light, woodland-style receiver and stock with scattered orange foliage, while the long barrel stays mostly black. In Minimal Wear the camo looks practically the same as a fresh copy at normal distance, with at most faint marks on the muzzle and edges. It is the practical way to get a clean-looking Modern Hunter.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and stock carry the main print: a photographic hunting camo of pale grey-olive branches with scattered orange and rust-yellow leaves. The long barrel is mostly black with light camo flecks running along its top, and the ribbed pump forend stays dark.

Wear is limited to faint specks, usually on the muzzle and the sharpest edges of the receiver. The camo on the stock and the body of the receiver looks untouched. At normal viewing distance it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The dark barrel and pump hide any small marks well.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Nova | Modern Hunter ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Militia Collection with 11 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in olive, brown, beige or orange tones blend with the hunting camo. Placing them on the dark barrel or pump gives contrast, while matte or paper stickers suit the realistic look better than bright holo ones.

What to check before buying

• Factory New covers only a narrow slice of the float range, so compare Minimal Wear copies near its lower end as a cheaper alternative.
• Inspect the muzzle, barrel top and stock edges, since these lose the print first.
• Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so check that their placement suits you.
• Check for any name tag or applied stickers and whether they fit the muted camo.
