Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the stained glass panels of this Nova are broken up by heavy wear, leaving patches of pink and red among exposed metal. The dark barrel and pump change the least, so the weapon keeps its outline while the receiver and stock look battered. This is the cheapest way to own the Rising Sun design, with a distinctly weathered look.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The barrel is left in dark gunmetal with a silver front cap, and the ribbed pump is also dark with a cool grey sheen. The receiver carries the main artwork: pale pink and white blossoms, red accents and small decorative markings, divided into stained glass segments by dark outlines.

Large areas of the receiver artwork are worn through, leaving scattered patches of colour on exposed metal. The stock loses much of its paint at the edges and bottom, with the sun only partly visible. In game the Nova reads as heavily used rather than colourful. The barrel and pump are scuffed but stay the least changed parts.
