Show allAllSkin overview
Nova | Windblown carries a dandelion field pattern in cream on slate, and its float range stops before the most damaged end of the scale. Because of that, Battle-Scarred copies are heavily worn but not stripped bare: metal dominates the edges and pump, yet traces of the seed heads remain on the stock. It is the cheapest way to own the skin with the look still identifiable.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The base coat is a dark blue-grey that covers the barrel, receiver and stock, with brownish-grey mottling along the barrel. Small cream dandelion seeds are scattered across the receiver and barrel, while the stock carries the largest motifs: several full dandelion clocks in beige and pale gold with fine radial detail.
Bare metal dominates the pump, muzzle and receiver edges, and the dark base on the barrel is heavily broken. The small seeds are largely erased. Because the float range stops early, the stock keeps recognisable traces of the dandelion clocks rather than being stripped. In game the skin reads as a battered gun with a faint floral print at the stock.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Windblown is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Nova | Windblown belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Snakebite Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in cream, beige, muted gold or dusty teal match the dandelion print and the slate base. Placing them on the dark receiver sides gives the best contrast without covering the stock motifs. Bright neon tones tend to break the calm, outdoor feel of the finish.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the pump and receiver change most between low and high floats.
- The pattern is randomised, so compare how the large dandelion clocks fall on the stock, as that is the most visible part of the design.
- Inspect the pump ridges and the muzzle first, because these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
- Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they can either suit the muted palette or clash with it.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget players who want the cheapest entry to this skin.
- Fans of battered finishes, helped by the range stopping before full wear.
- Conclusion: the lowest-cost way to own a still recognisable copy.
