Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested suits this finish well, since the green-stained wood is meant to look handled. Light scuffs on the edges of the pump and stock blend into the grain, and the flame motif still reads clearly. The Nova keeps its rustic hunting-gun character at this grade.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The pump, receiver and stock are covered in olive-green woodgrain, with the ribbed pump showing fine grain lines across its grooves. Dark burned-in flame scrolls curl over the side of the receiver and the stock, while the barrel and magazine tube stay in dark blued steel with a bright muzzle.
Scuffs become visible on the pump ribs, the receiver edges and the heel of the stock. The flame motif is still clear in the centre of the stock and on the receiver side. Because the finish imitates wood, the wear blends in and the gun reads as handled rather than damaged.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Wood Fired is 0–0.75; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Danger Zone Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Danger Zone Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Olive, gold, brown and dark green stickers sit naturally on the receiver and match the woodgrain. Muted blue accents can echo the dark blued barrel without breaking the hunting style. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the earthy palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the pump ribs and stock edges noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the edges of the pump grooves and the heel of the stock, as these parts lose paint first.
- Make sure the flame scrolls on the stock are intact if the motif is the reason you are buying.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the overall look of the receiver.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the handled hunting-gun character of the finish.
- Buyers looking for a recognisable Nova skin at a moderate cost.
- Conclusion: a grade where the wear suits the design.
