Skin overview

The skin is recognisable by its olive woodgrain, the dark flame scrolls on the stock and receiver, and the bare dark barrel above. Minimal Wear keeps the overall look almost unchanged, with only faint marks that are hard to notice in normal play. It is a practical choice when the clean appearance matters but the top grade does not.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The pump, receiver and stock are covered in olive-green woodgrain, with the ribbed pump showing fine grain lines across its grooves. Dark burned-in flame scrolls curl over the side of the receiver and the stock, while the barrel and magazine tube stay in dark blued steel with a bright muzzle.

Small specks may appear on the edges of the pump ribs and the bottom of the stock. The flame scrolls and the receiver remain clean. At normal distance this grade is practically indistinguishable from Factory New, which makes it the sensible saving.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Wood Fired is 0–0.75; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Danger Zone Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Danger Zone Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Olive, gold, brown and dark green stickers sit naturally on the receiver and match the woodgrain. Muted blue accents can echo the dark blued barrel without breaking the hunting style. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the earthy palette.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the pump ribs and stock edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the edges of the pump grooves and the heel of the stock, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Make sure the flame scrolls on the stock are intact if the motif is the reason you are buying.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the overall look of the receiver.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter.
  • Conclusion: the balanced choice between look and cost.
