Skin overview

P2000 | Chainmail covers the pistol in a fine scale pattern in muted khaki and grey, laid over a silver base that shows through as light highlights. In Factory New the pattern is crisp across the slide and grip, and the silver catches the light on the muzzle, trigger guard and magazine base. It is a quiet, metallic finish for a Counter-Terrorist sidearm.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The slide carries the chainmail pattern in darker grey-brown tones, with the rows running along its length and the silver base visible at the muzzle and front edges. The frame and grip repeat the same scale motif in a lighter khaki, and brighter silver patches show on the trigger guard and along the grip sides.

The hydrographic layer is intact over the whole pistol, and the scale pattern has even contrast on the slide, frame and grip. The silver highlights look deliberate and clean, with no rubbed spots on the muzzle or trigger guard. In game the finish reads as a uniform metallic texture with sharp edges.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Chainmail is 0–0.22; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (32% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, holo-silver and grey stickers blend with the metallic base, while gold or khaki tones match the chainmail scales. Placements on the flat side of the slide keep the pattern on the grip visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare the float within the wear range, as low-float copies keep the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
  • Look at the muzzle, trigger guard and grip bottom in the inspect view, since these lose the pattern first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the muted finish.
  • Check any name tag or applied stickers on regular copies before buying.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the chainmail pattern and silver highlights in their cleanest form.
  • Players building a sticker craft on a fresh, even surface.
  • Conclusion: the choice for those who want a spotless, muted metallic pistol.
