Skin overview

Field-Tested is the most worn grade this skin can reach, and the leaf pattern still remains the dominant feature. Scuffs appear along the slide edges and on the blue frame, giving the pistol a used, handled look. The colour contrast between the slide and the frame survives, so the skin stays recognisable at a glance.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The top and sides of the slide are covered with a tight pattern of overlapping leaves in orange, yellow and green, each shape separated by dark lines in a stained-glass manner. The front of the slide around the muzzle is left in a bare blue-silver metal tone.

Wear spreads along the slide edges and across the serrations, with some leaves losing colour and showing grey metal at the corners. The blue paint on the frame gets scuffed at the trigger guard edges and the bottom of the grip. The central part of the slide pattern still holds most of its colour, so in game the pistol reads as a used but clearly identifiable Corticera.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.3

The float of Souvenir P2000 | Corticera ranges from 0.06 to 0.3; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.3 — 63% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P2000 | Corticera belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in green, orange or gold tones continue the leaf palette of the slide, while blue or silver stickers blend into the frame. Placing a sticker on the plain blue frame keeps the slide pattern uncluttered.

What to check before buying

  • Factory New copies sit in a very narrow float band near the bottom of the range, so compare the exact float rather than the wear name alone.
  • On Field-Tested copies, check the slide edges and the front of the slide near the muzzle, where wear on the leaf pattern shows first.
  • Look at the trigger guard and the bottom of the grip for scuffs on the blue paint.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether you want the StatTrak™ counter.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Budget buyers who want the Corticera look on their pistol slot.
  • Players who like a used, handled appearance on a bright pattern.
  • The most accessible entry to this skin with its colours still clearly readable.
