Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of the hand-painted creature: large areas of the slide and grip lose paint and bare metal shows through the artwork. The coral panels turn patchy and the teal details survive mostly in the recessed areas. It is the cheapest way to get the Gnarled colour scheme, with the motif reduced to fragments.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The slide is painted dark navy and teal, with coral-red sections at the muzzle end and at the rear above the hammer. Teal-green tendrils of an alien creature spread from the grip across the frame and up the slide, with a red eye-like spot near the trigger area.
Large patches of bare metal cover the slide, the coral panels and the grip, and the creature survives in broken fragments. The heaviest damage sits on the muzzle, slide edges and grip base. In game, the finish reads as a dark, scratched pistol with traces of red and teal. Scraps of teal remain mainly in the recesses.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Gnarled is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir P2000 | Gnarled belongs to The Fracture Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Fracture Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in teal, dark green or coral red echo the finish without breaking the creature motif. Dark or holographic stickers with an eerie theme work well on the slide, away from the red eye.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since this finish spans the full scale and two copies of the same grade can differ noticeably.
- Look at the muzzle face, slide edges and grip base, which lose paint first.
- Make sure the tendril lines and the red eye near the trigger are not broken on the copy you pick.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the red and teal scheme.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget players who want the cheapest entry to this skin.
- Fans of heavily scratched, worn-out finishes.
- The lowest-cost option, with the artwork left in fragments.
