Skin overview

In Field-Tested, the alien creature is still the main element, but the paint starts to give way at the muzzle, the slide edges and the rear of the frame. The chipped spots expose bare metal against the dark finish and add a rough, aged character that fits the eerie motif. From a normal distance, the red and teal scheme still reads clearly.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is painted dark navy and teal, with coral-red sections at the muzzle end and at the rear above the hammer. Teal-green tendrils of an alien creature spread from the grip across the frame and up the slide, with a red eye-like spot near the trigger area.

Chips show on the muzzle, the top edge of the slide, the rear of the slide and the base of the grip. Some thin tendril lines near the edges start to fade. In game, the creature and colour scheme read well, with light roughness on the outline. The centre of the slide sides and the red eye usually stay clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir P2000 | Gnarled ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Fracture Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Fracture Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in teal, dark green or coral red echo the finish without breaking the creature motif. Dark or holographic stickers with an eerie theme work well on the slide, away from the red eye.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since this finish spans the full scale and two copies of the same grade can differ noticeably.
  • Look at the muzzle face, slide edges and grip base, which lose paint first.
  • Make sure the tendril lines and the red eye near the trigger are not broken on the copy you pick.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the red and teal scheme.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the full colour scheme in game at a moderate cost.
  • Those who like light chipping that adds age to the eerie motif.
  • A practical everyday choice for the P2000 slot.
