Show allAllSkin overview
Grip Tape is recognisable by its pale slide with a maze-like grey pattern and the dark rubbery shapes on the grip. In Field-Tested the light paint begins to show darker metal at the muzzle and slide edges, which stands out more on a white finish than on a dark one. The grip panels still look intact, so the tape effect remains clear.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The slide and frame are painted in off-white and silver tones, with a thin light grey pattern of straight lines and rectangular outlines running along the slide. A dark line marks the joint between slide and frame, and the trigger guard and trigger area stay in the same pale paint.
Dark scratches spread from the muzzle along the front and top edges of the slide, and small chips appear on the trigger guard and the bottom of the grip. The light grey pattern on the slide begins to blend with the scuffs in the worn spots. In game the wear is visible on the front of the pistol because dark marks contrast with the white paint. The middle of the slide and the dark grip panels still look largely clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Grip Tape is 0–0.75; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, grey, silver and white stickers keep the monochrome scheme intact and sit well on the pale slide. A single bright accent such as red or blue stands out strongly against the white paint, so one sticker is usually enough. Holo or foil stickers in silver tones match the different sheens of the finish.
What to check before buying
- Look at the muzzle and slide edges first, since dark metal shows clearly on this light finish.
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, because a low float keeps the white paint noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the trigger guard and the bottom of the grip and magazine for chips.
- On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied, as they cannot be removed without being scraped off.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the recognisable white-and-dark scheme at a moderate cost.
- Those who do not mind visible marks at the front of the pistol.
- A practical everyday version of the skin.
