Skin overview

Red Wing is recognisable by its charcoal body and the deep red wedges running along the slide toward the muzzle. In Field-Tested the red starts to show scuffs on the front of the slide and the raised edges, while the overall grey-and-red shape is still clear. A balanced choice if you want the look without paying for a clean finish.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is charcoal grey with angular deep red panels set along its sides, layered like plates and pointing toward the muzzle, with dark serrations at the rear. The frame and trigger guard stay grey, with fine engraved lines around the trigger area.

Scuffs appear on the front of the slide, the muzzle and the edges of the red panels. The red base of the grip shows first light rubbing. In game the red still reads clearly, though less evenly. The grip engraving and the frame mostly keep their detail.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Red Wing is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Genesis Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Sealed Genesis Terminal.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and grey stickers match the charcoal and deep red scheme. Placing them on the grey part of the slide behind the red panels keeps the main artwork visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since wear on this skin grows gradually across a wide range.
  • Look at the front of the slide and the red panel edges, where paint goes first.
  • Inspect the red base of the grip on worn copies, as it rubs off early.
  • Check applied stickers and name tag, and decide whether you want a StatTrak™ version.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the design clearly visible at a moderate cost.
  • Those who do not mind light scuffs on the slide.
  • A balanced everyday pick.
