Skin overview

The skin is built around a layered, angular slide design in grey with red accents, plus a patterned grip with a small emblem and a red-tipped base. Minimal Wear keeps the red panels practically intact, with at most faint marks on the sharpest edges. For most players it looks the same as Factory New in the hand and usually asks less.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The slide is charcoal grey with angular deep red panels set along its sides, layered like plates and pointing toward the muzzle, with dark serrations at the rear. The frame and trigger guard stay grey, with fine engraved lines around the trigger area.

Faint marks may appear on the muzzle and the tips of the red panels. They are hard to spot in game at normal distance. The grip texture, emblem and red base remain clean. Overall the pistol reads almost identical to Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Red Wing is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Genesis Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Sealed Genesis Terminal.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and grey stickers match the charcoal and deep red scheme. Placing them on the grey part of the slide behind the red panels keeps the main artwork visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since wear on this skin grows gradually across a wide range.
  • Look at the front of the slide and the red panel edges, where paint goes first.
  • Inspect the red base of the grip on worn copies, as it rubs off early.
  • Check applied stickers and name tag, and decide whether you want a StatTrak™ version.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look for less.
  • Sticker crafts where tiny edge marks do not matter.
  • A sensible alternative to Factory New.
