Skin overview

Royal Baroque is a blue and gold filigree finish for the P2000. In Battle-Scarred much of the paint on the slide, muzzle and grip edges is gone, leaving grey metal between the remaining ornament. It suits those who like the heavily worn take on a decorative design.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is painted deep blue with gold pinstripes running along its length and gold baroque scrolls over the side, while coppery patches sit along the top edge and near the muzzle. The frame and trigger guard continue the blue, and the grip carries larger gold scrolls with fine vertical gold lines.

Large patches of paint are missing across the slide, muzzle and grip, with grey metal showing between fragments of ornament. The gold sights and magazine baseplate are heavily chipped. Only the central parts of the slide and grip keep coherent pieces of the filigree. In game the blue is broken up and the design reads as rough and worn.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.6

The float of Souvenir P2000 | Royal Baroque ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P2000 | Royal Baroque belongs to The Ascent Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo-gold and deep blue stickers blend with the filigree and keep the royal palette. A single sticker on the flat part of the slide above the scrollwork reads best without hiding the ornament.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its grade, since a low value in Minimal Wear or Field-Tested keeps the slide edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the front of the slide and the muzzle, which lose paint first on this finish.
  • Inspect the gold magazine baseplate and sights, as chips there are visible in first person.
  • Review any applied stickers or name tag to make sure they match your taste.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Fans of heavily worn skins who like bare metal breaking up the pattern.
  • Players who want the cheapest way to carry this design in game.
  • Conclusion: the grade for those who prefer a rough look over clean detail.
