Skin overview

The skin pairs a near-black slide covered in red diamond shapes with a cooler grey frame where the motif fades out. At Minimal Wear the contrast between the red grid and the dark base is practically unchanged, and any marks sit on edges you rarely notice in game. It offers the clean look for less than the top grade.

Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is a dark charcoal tone covered with a dense lattice of red diamonds and crossing lines that runs along its full length. Lower down, the frame, trigger guard and grip switch to a blue-grey base where the same diamond motif continues in fainter, desaturated red.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the muzzle and the very edges of the slide. The red diamonds and the dark base look the same as in the cleanest grade at normal viewing distance. The frame, grip and magazine stay clean. Most players will not tell it apart from Factory New in a match.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir P250 | Crimson Kimono ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P250 | Crimson Kimono belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and dark grey stickers match the slide and keep the geometric look intact. Placing a red or monochrome sticker on the dark slide repeats the grid's accent, while muted grey or blue tones fit the lower frame.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep the red lines noticeably sharper.
  • Inspect the muzzle, the top edges of the slide and the magazine base, as these lose the finish first.
  • The pattern is a uniform repeating grid, so placement differences between copies matter little.
  • Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look of the slide and the overall impression.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a clean-looking pistol without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafts where slight edge marks will not be noticed.
  • A sensible balance of appearance and cost.
