Skin overview

P250 | Valence in Battle-Scarred keeps its dark grey and blue base but loses much of its crisp linework. The muzzle, edges and grip show heavy scuffing, and the cyan accents survive mostly in protected areas. It suits players who want the colour scheme at the lowest entry point and do not mind a rough surface.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is dark grey to near-black, with a thin cyan line running along its side towards the muzzle. The front of the frame under the slide is covered with a field of blue dots, framed by curved cyan and blue stripes that continue around the trigger guard area.

Heavy scuffing covers the slide, muzzle, frame front and grip edges, and most of the thin cyan linework is broken or faded. The blue dot field survives only in patches. The ribbed grip panel is worn on its raised parts, keeping colour mainly in the grooves. In game the pistol still shows its dark and blue palette, but the detail is largely gone.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of Souvenir P250 | Valence is 0–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (44% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir P250 | Valence belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, cyan, silver and white stickers fit the cool palette of this finish, and holo or foil stickers in those tones match the bright accents. Placements on the dark slide stand out well, while stickers kept away from the dot pattern leave the main motif visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the thin cyan lines on the slide react to wear early.
  • Look at the muzzle and the front of the frame, which are the first places to lose paint on this finish.
  • Inspect the ribbed cyan panel on the grip, as its raised parts fade on more worn copies.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change the look of the slide and are hard to judge from the preview alone.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the lowest-cost way to get this finish.
  • Fans of a rough, heavily used look on a dark pistol.
  • A minimal-spend option for those who value the palette over detail.
