Skin overview

Baroque Red pairs a dark red base with a fine grey ornament, and its float range ends early in Battle-Scarred. This means even the most worn copies are only lightly into this grade, without the heavy damage seen on many other skins. The edges are noticeably stripped to metal, but the maroon pattern still dominates the silhouette.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole polymer shell of the P90, from the front of the body around the muzzle to the trigger loop and the stock, is coated in a glossy dark maroon with an intricate pale grey ornament of crosses, rosettes and rectangular panels. The anodized finish has a slight metallic sheen that catches light on the rounded parts of the grip loop and the thumbhole.

Edges and raised parts are stripped to metal over wider areas, including the loops, the front of the body and the stock corners. Scratches cut through the ornament in more places, but since the float range ends early in this grade, the damage stays moderate. In game the P90 still reads as a red baroque skin rather than bare metal. The central panels of the stock and body keep visible pattern.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of Souvenir P90 | Baroque Red is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Canals Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, copper and deep red stickers echo the maroon base and the copper magazine, keeping the baroque feel. Placing them on the flat side panel of the body or the stock keeps the ornament readable around them, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade show noticeably more metal on the edges.
  • Look at the rims of the trigger and grip loops and the stock corners, as these lose the anodized coating first.
  • On Souvenir copies, check the pre-applied stickers and how they sit over the ornament.
  • If there is a name tag or added stickers, make sure they suit the dark red palette.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget players who want the cheapest entry to this skin.
  • Buyers who appreciate that wear here stays moderate thanks to the limited float range.
  • The most economical way to get the red baroque look.
