Skin overview

The skin is easy to spot by its dark wine-red shell and the intricate light ornament that runs from the muzzle end to the back of the stock. In Minimal Wear the coating looks practically intact, and any marks sit on the very edges where they are hard to notice. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade for a buyer who does not need a perfect float.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole polymer shell of the P90, from the front of the body around the muzzle to the trigger loop and the stock, is coated in a glossy dark maroon with an intricate pale grey ornament of crosses, rosettes and rectangular panels. The anodized finish has a slight metallic sheen that catches light on the rounded parts of the grip loop and the thumbhole.

Tiny specks of metal may appear on the sharpest edges, such as the rear corner of the stock and the front tip of the body. The ornament itself stays fully intact and the colour does not fade. At normal distance in game the skin is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The flat sides of the body and the stock remain clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir P90 | Baroque Red ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 16% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P90 | Baroque Red belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, copper and deep red stickers echo the maroon base and the copper magazine, keeping the baroque feel. Placing them on the flat side panel of the body or the stock keeps the ornament readable around them, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade show noticeably more metal on the edges.
  • Look at the rims of the trigger and grip loops and the stock corners, as these lose the anodized coating first.
  • On Souvenir copies, check the pre-applied stickers and how they sit over the ornament.
  • If there is a name tag or added stickers, make sure they suit the dark red palette.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-perfect look without paying for the cleanest grade.
  • Crafters for whom tiny edge marks under stickers do not matter.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
