Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the roughest grade of P90 | Desert Warfare, although the skin's float range stops well short of the maximum, so even here the paint is not stripped bare. Wear is heavy on the edges, sights and grip area, yet the stock and side panels keep traces of the desert graphic. It is the most affordable way to own this discontinued finish.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The finish covers the whole P90 in a matte, muted palette of stone-grey and dusty tones that echoes the desert theme. The receiver and the long top magazine carry the main surface of the paint, with the top rail and both sights in the same subdued colours.

All edges, the sights, the muzzle and the grip area are heavily worn, with patches of metal spreading onto the magazine and the stock corners. Because the float range ends early, the central panels still keep traces of the graphic. In game the P90 looks battered and dusty but still clearly carries the desert colours.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir P90 | Desert Warfare ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P90 | Desert Warfare belongs to The Huntsman Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Note: It was removed because one of its creators was also involved with the M4A4 Howl art theft. This is no longer obtainable from the Huntsman Weapon Case, but remains part of The Huntsman Collection and still works with trade-up contracts.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Sand, olive, brown and muted grey stickers match the desert palette best. Placing them on the side of the receiver or the stock keeps the calm overall look, while one darker accent can add contrast without breaking the theme.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edges of the magazine and the sights show the difference first.
  • On worn copies look at the thumbhole rim and the stock corners to see how far the wear has spread.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they stay on the item and change its look.
  • Keep in mind the skin no longer drops, so supply comes only from existing copies on the market.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget buyers looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
  • Players who want a battered look that still keeps traces of the graphic.
  • The most affordable way to put this finish in your inventory.
