Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the Shapewood laminate is heavily rubbed, with the grain lines broken up and grey base showing on the most exposed parts. The light wood colour still dominates the body, so the skin reads as a weathered wooden P90 rather than a damaged paint job. It suits players who like a rough, aged look.

Item type: smg. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole moulded body of the P90 — the front grip, the trigger guard loop, the thumbhole and the long stock — is covered in a light laminated wood finish with dark, wavy contour lines that follow the curves like cut plywood layers. Warmer orange-brown patches gather around the lower grip and trigger area, while the stock stays pale beige.

Large worn areas cover the grip, the trigger guard loop and the edges of the stock, with grey base showing in many places. The contour lines are broken across most of the body. In game the P90 looks weathered and patchy, but still recognisably wooden. The dark metal top rail and magazine change little because they carry no wood finish.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir P90 | Shapewood ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Warm browns, golds, cream and muted greens sit naturally on the light wood, while dark or matte stickers echo the grey top rail. The wide flat side of the stock is the best spot for a centred sticker or a small row. Very bright neon colours tend to fight with the calm wooden tone.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end keep the grip edges noticeably better.
  • Inspect the front grip, the thumbhole rim and the bottom of the stock, as these lose the wood finish first.
  • Look at how the darker orange-brown patches fall on the body, since their placement changes the overall feel of the wood.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the clean wooden sides read.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who deliberately want a rough, weathered wooden gun.
  • The most affordable way to use this finish in matches.
  • Conclusion: a character choice for fans of aged surfaces.
