Skin overview

The P90 | Shapewood is built around a layered wood body with swirling grain lines and orange-brown patches near the grip. In Field-Tested the finish starts to look handled: the laminate loses some of its polish on the edges, which suits a wooden theme more than it would a bright paint job. The overall wooden silhouette remains clear at any distance.

Item type: smg. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The whole moulded body of the P90 — the front grip, the trigger guard loop, the thumbhole and the long stock — is covered in a light laminated wood finish with dark, wavy contour lines that follow the curves like cut plywood layers. Warmer orange-brown patches gather around the lower grip and trigger area, while the stock stays pale beige.

Wear becomes noticeable on the grip edges, the rim of the thumbhole and the lower edge of the stock, where the laminate looks rubbed. Some contour lines on these areas start to fade. In game the wooden body still reads clearly, with a slightly duller surface. The middle of the stock and the side panels remain mostly intact.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir P90 | Shapewood ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Warm browns, golds, cream and muted greens sit naturally on the light wood, while dark or matte stickers echo the grey top rail. The wide flat side of the stock is the best spot for a centred sticker or a small row. Very bright neon colours tend to fight with the calm wooden tone.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end keep the grip edges noticeably better.
  • Inspect the front grip, the thumbhole rim and the bottom of the stock, as these lose the wood finish first.
  • Look at how the darker orange-brown patches fall on the body, since their placement changes the overall feel of the wood.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the clean wooden sides read.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who like a wooden finish that looks handled rather than polished.
  • Buyers looking for a balanced entry into this skin.
  • Conclusion: a sensible middle ground where light wear fits the theme.
