Skin overview

Blue Streak on its most worn grade turns into a rough, weathered version of the splash design. Battle-Scarred copies show heavy paint loss on the magazine, barrel area and receiver edges, leaving broken blue fragments on bare metal. The range ends before the very bottom of the scale, so even the worst copies keep some colour.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and barrel shroud are covered in bright aqua splashes over a dark grey base, with denser blue patches along the top. The cylindrical drum magazine under the barrel carries the same splatter, broken by wide diagonal streaks of blue.

The drum magazine and front of the gun lose a large share of the splatter, with broken blue fragments over bare metal. The receiver shows heavy scuffing along its edges and top. In game the skin reads as a rough grey-and-blue finish rather than bright splashes. Since the range stops short of the maximum, some blue still survives on every part.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of Souvenir PP-Bizon | Blue Streak is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir PP-Bizon | Blue Streak belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in blue, cyan, white or black match the splash pattern without overloading it. Placements on the receiver side work best, where the dark base gives stickers a clean background.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the front edge of the drum magazine and the muzzle, as these lose paint first.
  • For Factory New, keep in mind that all copies sit in a narrow float slice close to the Minimal Wear border.
  • Check whether the splatter placement on the receiver and magazine suits you, since the hydrographic sits differently on each copy.
  • Review applied stickers and any name tag, as bright colours can clash with the blue scheme.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players after the cheapest entry into this skin.
  • Fans of rough finishes where broken blue fragments sit on bare metal.
  • Conclusion: a budget choice with a distinct battered character.
