Skin overview

Blue Streak is built on contrast: chaotic cyan splashes across the receiver and drum magazine, a dark base and a plain blue grip. In Field-Tested the paint starts thinning on the edges and the muzzle, but the splatter still reads clearly. It is the grade where the skin's character holds up at a lower entry point.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and barrel shroud are covered in bright aqua splashes over a dark grey base, with denser blue patches along the top. The cylindrical drum magazine under the barrel carries the same splatter, broken by wide diagonal streaks of blue.

Paint loss becomes visible on the front of the drum magazine, the muzzle and the raised edges of the receiver. The blue grip may show light scuffs on its edges. In game the splatter still reads clearly and the blue stays dominant. The middle of the receiver and the stock area look largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir PP-Bizon | Blue Streak is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir PP-Bizon | Blue Streak belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in blue, cyan, white or black match the splash pattern without overloading it. Placements on the receiver side work best, where the dark base gives stickers a clean background.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the front edge of the drum magazine and the muzzle, as these lose paint first.
  • For Factory New, keep in mind that all copies sit in a narrow float slice close to the Minimal Wear border.
  • Check whether the splatter placement on the receiver and magazine suits you, since the hydrographic sits differently on each copy.
  • Review applied stickers and any name tag, as bright colours can clash with the blue scheme.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the blue splash look for everyday use.
  • Buyers looking for a lower entry while keeping the pattern readable.
  • Conclusion: a practical grade for play.
