Skin overview

Brass turns the Bizon into a weapon that looks partly rebuilt from yellowed metal, which the item description sums up as fool's gold. In Field-Tested the patina picks up visible scuffs along the handguard and receiver edges, which suits the aged-metal theme. The overall gold-and-steel silhouette stays easy to recognise.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, dust cover and slotted handguard are finished in a brass patina with an olive-yellow tone and darker mottled shading. The pistol grip and trigger guard share the same brass colour, so the whole front half of the gun reads as one metal piece.

Scuffs are now visible along the receiver edges, the top of the dust cover and the rims of the handguard slots. The grip edges start to show lighter worn patches. The large flat areas of brass still hold their colour, and the steel parts change only slightly. In game it reads as used brass, which fits the patina style.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir PP-Bizon | Brass is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Dust 2 Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from:

And 7 more — souvenir packages and other sources.

What it costs in each quality

Among 3 skins of the PP-Bizon in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brown and black stickers blend with the brass patina, while deep red or dark green add contrast without fighting the metal tone. Placing stickers on the receiver side keeps them on the brass, and the grey drum suits steel-toned or holo stickers.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since the brass edges on the receiver and handguard slots show the difference first.
  • Inspect the grip and the top of the receiver, where scratches on the patina are most noticeable.
  • Check whether the copy is a Souvenir, since the Souvenir and regular versions are listed separately.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the brass body reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like the aged-metal theme and do not mind light scuffs.
  • Budget buyers who still want the brass colour clearly visible.
  • Conclusion: good value with scuffs that suit the patina style.
