Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most rusted version of Rust Coat, where corrosion covers most of the receiver, magazine and stock. The original gunmetal survives only in small spots, and the gun reads as a solid brown, weathered piece. It is the fullest expression of the skin's idea.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and handguard are finished in dark gunmetal with a faint bronze-brown tint, the vented handguard slots and rear sight left in the same tone. The long cylindrical drum magazine under the barrel is a lighter grey steel with a soft sheen.
Corrosion covers most of the weapon, from the muzzle and receiver to the magazine and stock. The original gunmetal survives only as small scattered spots. At any distance in game the gun reads as a uniformly brown, heavily weathered piece. Nothing on the surface looks clean, which is the intended result for this finish.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir PP-Bizon | Rust Coat is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir PP-Bizon | Rust Coat belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
On cleaner copies, dark, gold or metallic stickers keep the restrained gunmetal look. On rusted copies, warm brown, orange and holographic stickers echo the corrosion, and placements along the receiver work best since the drum magazine dominates the silhouette.
What to look at before you buy
- Rust grows with float, so check where the float sits within the wear range if you want a cleaner or a rustier look.
- Look at the receiver and drum magazine in the inspect view, since that is where the amount of rust is most visible.
- Check whether the copy is a Souvenir version and what stickers are already applied.
- Check for a name tag and stickers, as they change how the plain finish reads.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want the fullest rust effect the skin can show.
- Budget entry for anyone who wants this skin in their inventory.
- Conclusion: the most authentic take on the skin's weathered idea.
