In Battle-Scarred this R8 looks like an old sidearm that has seen heavy use. The dark finish is scraped on most edges, and the carved grip is darker, with the sea-creature remains less defined. Most edges of the barrel, frame and cylinder are scraped down to light metal, and the dark finish looks patchy. The grip is noticeably darker, and grime fills the recesses, flattening the relief. In game it reads as a heavily used sidearm, while the pale grip silhouette is still recognisable.
