Skin overview

The skin pairs a red hydrographic base with a dark spider-web overlay on a revolver with an unpainted dark grip. At Well-Worn the paint is clearly chipped along the frame, cylinder and trigger guard, and the web becomes harder to follow in the damaged areas. The red silhouette is still unmistakable, so this grade is a cheap way to carry the colour.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The frame, barrel shroud, top rail, cylinder, hammer and trigger guard are painted red, with a thin dark spider-web pattern applied over them by hydrographic print. The under-barrel rail stays dark grey, and the rubber grip is left plain dark grey with its finger grooves unpainted.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the frame, cylinder and barrel shroud, leaving patches of bare metal. The trigger guard and hammer are heavily chipped, and the web is lost in several areas. The flat sides of the frame still carry most of the red. In game the revolver looks clearly used, though the red colour remains its main feature.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir R8 Revolver | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir R8 Revolver | Crimson Web belongs to The Revolver Case Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Revolver Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white and silver stickers sit well on the red frame and echo the dark web lines. Red or dark red stickers blend into the finish for a tonal craft, while gold accents stand out without clashing.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since low and high copies of the same grade can look noticeably different on the edges.
  • Look at how the web lines fall on the visible side of the frame and cylinder, because pattern placement varies between copies.
  • Inspect the muzzle rim, top rail ridges, cylinder and trigger guard, as these lose paint first.
  • Make sure any applied stickers or name tag fit the look you want, since they stay on the item.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who want the recognisable red revolver in their loadout.
  • Players who do not inspect their weapon and care mainly about colour.
  • An inexpensive entry into the skin with a visibly used finish.
