Skin overview

Crimson Web on the R8 Revolver is recognisable by its strong red colour and the dark web lines running across the frame, barrel and cylinder. In Field-Tested the red still dominates, but grey metal starts to show through on edges, the muzzle and the cylinder. The scuffs suit the rough, used character of the design.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The frame, barrel shroud, top rail, cylinder, hammer and trigger guard are painted red, with a thin dark spider-web pattern applied over them by hydrographic print. The under-barrel rail stays dark grey, and the rubber grip is left plain dark grey with its finger grooves unpainted.

Grey metal shows clearly on the muzzle, rail ridges, cylinder flutes and the hammer, and small chips appear on the trigger guard. The web starts to break up where the edges are worn, but stays intact on the flat sides. In game the revolver still reads as red with a visible pattern. Low-float copies look close to Minimal Wear, while high-float ones show noticeably more scuffing.
