Skin overview

This Gunsmith finish relies on texture rather than bright paint, so it ages in a quiet way. In Well-Worn the dark metal shows lighter scratched patches along the top rail, barrel and cylinder, and the grip pattern starts to look faded at the front. The revolver takes on a used, working-tool character that suits the finish.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The barrel shroud, frame and cylinder are finished in dark gunmetal covered with a fine pressed, knurl-like texture, with polished steel showing on the cylinder flutes, hammer and trigger guard. The top rail and the edges of the barrel stay dark and sharp, framing the textured panels.

Larger scratched patches cover the barrel shroud, top rail and cylinder, and the hammer and frame edges show bare metal. The pressed texture is broken up by worn areas, so the metal looks uneven. The grip pattern is faded at the front and around the finger grooves, though the blue tone is still recognisable. At normal distance the gun looks clearly worn but keeps its colour scheme.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir R8 Revolver | Grip is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Clutch Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Clutch Case.

What it costs in each quality

Taking Well-Worn as the baseline, Factory New — 1.9× dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in blue, teal, white or silver tie in with the grip and the polished steel. Holo or foil stickers in cool tones work well on the dark barrel shroud, while placements on the frame keep the textured metal visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show noticeably less scratching on the barrel and rail.
  • Inspect the barrel edges, top rail and cylinder rim, which are the first places the dark coating wears through.
  • Look at the front of the grip and the finger grooves to see how much of the blue pattern has faded.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they suit the dark body and blue handle.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget-minded players who still want the dark-and-blue colour scheme.
  • Fans of a worn, working-tool look on revolvers.
  • Conclusion: an inexpensive option with a distinct used character.
