Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the hand-painted green stripes of R8 Revolver | Survivalist are heavily worn, leaving much of the metal exposed and the pattern only partly readable. The result looks rough and weathered, closer to a salvaged revolver than a freshly painted one. The wooden grip with its pale tape stays the most intact part and anchors the look.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel, top rail and frame are painted in diagonal bands of bright and darker green, applied in a brushed, hand-painted manner over grey-green metal. The cylinder and hammer stay in darker gunmetal tones with a slight green tint, and a small brass detail sits on the frame beside the cylinder.

Most of the green paint is gone from the muzzle, rail, underlug and trigger guard, and the side stripes are reduced to fragments. Metal dominates the barrel and frame. In game the skin reads as a worn grey-green revolver with traces of stripes. The wooden grip and tape remain the cleanest and most recognisable part.

Which stickers suit it

Olive, khaki, brown and beige stickers blend with the stripes and the wooden grip. Paper or matte stickers on the side of the frame suit the hand-painted theme better than bright holographic ones.
