Skin overview

Survivalist on the R8 Revolver is a green-striped camo finish with a taped wooden grip, and in Well-Worn it looks like a revolver that has seen long use. The stripes are broken up on the barrel and frame, and patches of bare metal mix with the remaining green. The grip and the overall green-and-brown palette still keep the skin recognisable.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The barrel, top rail and frame are painted in diagonal bands of bright and darker green, applied in a brushed, hand-painted manner over grey-green metal. The cylinder and hammer stay in darker gunmetal tones with a slight green tint, and a small brass detail sits on the frame beside the cylinder.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the sides of the barrel and frame, breaking the stripes into patches. The barrel underlug and rail show large areas of bare metal. In game the revolver looks noticeably darker and patchier, though the green is still clear. The grip keeps its wood and tape with only slight dulling.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir R8 Revolver | Survivalist ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir R8 Revolver | Survivalist belongs to The Horizon Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Olive, khaki, brown and beige stickers blend with the stripes and the wooden grip. Paper or matte stickers on the side of the frame suit the hand-painted theme better than bright holographic ones.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value inside a grade keeps more paint on the rail and muzzle.
  • Inspect the muzzle, top rail edges and trigger guard first, as they lose paint earliest.
  • The stripe layout is uniform, so pattern placement matters far less than float.
  • Look at any applied stickers or name tag to make sure they suit the green and wood palette.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players looking for an inexpensive entry into this skin.
  • Fans of a patchy, heavily used look.
  • A cheaper option that keeps the green palette readable.
